P3Dv4.2 Compatibility?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if PATC is compatible with P3Dv4.2?

Thanks,

My understanding is that there are some issues with P3Dv4.2 and FSUIPC.  If that is the case, then likely P2ATC won't work with the new version of P3D until they iron out the problems with FSUIPC.

If you decide to give it a try, please report back here to let others know.

Hello Dave,

Yes there's a problem with FSUIPC 5.123c but Pete Dowson comes back next Tuesday and he certainly will made a hotfix.

But you can use the version 5.122 of FSUIPC with P3Dv4.2 and Pilot2ATC works with this version.

Update FSUIPC 5.123d is ready on the Pete Dowson site here : http://forum.simflight.com/topic/80977-updated-modules/

Pay attention : you must install version 5.123c and then replace the dll with the dll included is the zipfile 5.123d

FSUIPC is now at 5.23e on Pete's site.

However, since Prepar3D  4.1 I did not manage to get FSUIPC 5.23 to work. Prepar3D ctd's without any error message as long as the fsuipc.dll is in the modules folder. Once removed, everything is running fine.

Pity, because that limits Pilot2ATC to X-Plane for me.

Does anyone know where I could get FSUIPC 5.22 to try that one?

Hans

Pete Dowson fixed my issues. It was a corrupted wx weather file which upon start conflicted with FSUIPC and resulted in the crash on start. All working fine now with the latest 5.23e.
