The conclusion is that the problem is still present even with CP off.

As I first tested it without CP, I was closer to the F22 and was amazed to see the lights staying on as I circled around the F22.

In my second attempt I zoomed out a bit and the issue came back and exactly in the same viewing angles.

Ok the weird thing is this doesn't happen to me, can you check your special effects settings under P3D? Move the bars all the way to the right.

Hello @simbol,

had those on medium and pushed them to the max. Issue is still there...

The only thing thet remains now is that I try the latest nVidia drivers (currently I'm on 390,77 but there's a fresh one out). If this doesn't help, then I guess it's a uninstall and reinstall of the sim :(.

How you upgraded to V4.2? did you installed the Client + Content? or only the Client?

The reason I ask is because it has been reported that some with the Client upgraded only present some random issues or problems.

This was a super clean install meaning that even the OS was reinstalled :(.

Nevertheless I have started the Witch-Hunt: I uninstalled all my Add-On's in reverse order then finaly dropped P3D afterwards deleting all remains from my system.

I'm currently adding then 1 by 1 with a short test in between.

Up till now I have a working vanilla P3D (no issues) and already installed FSGU NG mesh whith no issues at all.

Will keep you guys posted....give me time...

@simbol I installed every single addon one by one and checked my sim. No issues!

Now the best part: the last thing I installed was UTLive and BOOM! With UTLive my lights go out, disabling UTLive all is perfect! WHAT THE HECK?????????????

Weird, I have UTL and no problems.

I wonder if this is something else, how many add-on's.xml you have on your P3D add-on's documents folder?

Try disabling another add-on by removing it temporally from the folder and try again.

I have 9 entries!

On my system it is clearly UTL. If I turn it off, all is well. It took me 2 afternoons to install and check the addons from my signature. Also did tests with combined Addons e.g.: with or without weather, with / without ASCA, (you get the point) and they all worked out well until UTL was installed.

Ok maybe SimConnect  compatibility, what happens if you leave UTL installed, launch P3D and kill UTLCLIENT.EXE on task manager ?

Hello @simbol first off all, thank you for your help. I realy appreciate it!

To your test: I started P3D (UTL on) end went to my test location. Turned my outside view so that the taxi lights of the F22 go out. Killing UTLCLIENT on Task Manager instantly brought the lights back on!

Ok UTL works with SimConnet, so there is a conflict between it and something else on your sim, try to install all the SimConnet clients under PD3V4 \ REDIST\.

Install all the SimConnet clients except the Russian and Japanese.

Another possibility is a compatibility problem between UTL and another add-on, like floodlights, chaseplane, etc.

Uninstalled ChasePlane -> problem still there.

Yes I do but it's the locked version that comes with the FSL Bus. I already uninstalled Spotlights and the issue was still there.

Hate to say it but I'm back at square 1 -> uninstalled everything and starting with P3D and UTLive...
