Hi Bert, Thanks for the GTN mods, it works great. One question though, I use nav + lnav to follow the flightplan, but how do I switch to ILS approach to hold the course and glideslope?

You have a choice between two types of approaches...

RNAV/LPV approaches are flown with the GTN in GPS mode

ILS approaches are flown with the GTN in VLOC mode, and the ILS frequency set in the NAV1 radio

If you want to fly an ILS approach, you should set the heading bug to the runway heading,

when vectored to final, switch the autopilot to HDG mode,  switch the GTN to VLOC mode.  (If the HSI is still in GPS mode, it also needs to be switched to VOR/LOC mode).

Verify that the glideslope indicators are live, and switch the autopilot to APR mode.
