Reminds me of many business trips where I have come home........  Pulling up to the gate, I would let out a sigh of relief knowing I would be taken home to my wife.  She would wait anxiously for days while I was away.  On one trip to San Diego, I paid for her to fly out to see me the next day and stay with me while I worked with my client.   My client gave her a tour of San Diego. she said it was the best vacation she ever had.  I was just happy to have her with me while I worked, after a few days we flew back to Phoenix together.

What a great post, and compliment to your wife...and I imagine...a strong, working marriage.  My compliments, also! Cheers!  :)

Thank you, Pugilist.  Sometimes in using the latest XP11 (x), it's getting harder to differentiate between the sim, and a real vid of the action.  I keep thinking back to XP v5 or v6 where I came on-board.  I shudder to think that in its day, I thought that was sooooo good. Today, if someone sent me back in time to that, or FS98...I'd shut the computer down, walk away, and do something else with what would have been my flight simming time. If my wife could only read this...if only she could read this post....so...shhhh! :)  She'd be searching for Charles Vern in a heartbeat, LOL!
