June 2, 200620 yr Author That the dll is called oleacc.dll. You can find it in your main FS9 folder. Get rid of it and you'll be flying in no time.
June 2, 200620 yr Just curious Andrew, have you tried starting FS9 by double clicking on a flight in the flights folder.Browse to the FS9 folder in your computer. Open the flights folder. Open any folder and pick a flight by double clicking on it to start a flight which in turn should start FS9.
June 3, 200620 yr Yup, that was the dll I was trying to find in the previous post. I , too, had installed the IE 7 beta so guess it's probably the culprit.I would like to recommend here that the greatest investment I've made in my computer world (other than FS9, of course) is to buy a 200gb , one button, external backup drive where I just press a button every evening and backup every change I've made in my computer in the previous 24 hours. It takes about 15 minutes at the most depending upon how much activity I produced. If I play around with an aircraft cfg, scenery folder, etc and screw it up I just flash up the drive and copy the uncorrupted one back into FS.Gary
