March 12, 20188 yr Hi, last night I updated my client to 4.2, and now a number of my add-ons which were installed via the add-on.xml have gone missing. I think I got most of my scenery back by copying the add-on.cfg from appdata\roamimg\Lockheen Martin\P3D v4 to the one located in ProgramData, but alas my RealAir Legacy will not show up again at all. Can anybody offer any tips as to how to get it back? Thanks Jack Jack Johnston
March 13, 20188 yr Wonder if it's the same issue as the A2A planes. P3D v4.2 won't recognize a slash mark at the end of a file path anymore. try this post at a2a and see if it helps http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=63073 | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

Those are two different files, both called add-ons.cfg. The one in AppData\Roaming is rewritten every time you start the sim - it contains the references to the addons that are discovered automatically by P3D (in \Documents\...). The other one in ProgramData on the other hand contains the references to addons where the installer used the P3D command line options. If you lose the file in AppData, P3D will make a new one. If you lose the file in ProgramData, you have to reinstall the addons that were in there. Best regards Edited March 13, 20188 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
March 13, 20188 yr The Duke does not install via an add-ons.cfg entry. It can be restored by re-adding the appropriate entry in the ...\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\simobjects.cfg file (xx is the next number after the last Entry.xx section): [Entry.xx] Title=RealAir Turbine Duke Path=full path of your Duke folder's \Simobjects\Airplanes directory Required=False Active=True Make sure you use a text editor (like Notepad++) that preserves the character set of the config file when editing it...Notepad or Wordpad will change it to UTF-8 and potentially cause big trouble. March 13, 20188 yr Author Thanks for all the input guys. I solved the RealAir Legacy problem by re-installing it, and will now slowly go around checking all my installed airports to make sure they are still there. Thanks Jack Jack Johnston
