March 15, 20188 yr After being phased out of regular commercial air traffic, the legendary Tu-134s get more and more rare these days. It's the more remarkable if you fly one and meet another by surprise... Regards, Harald Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
March 16, 20188 yr More powerful lightweight fuel efficient engines are changing aviation...carbon fiber is sending beautiful metal airplanes to the junk yards.....great looking shots! HLJAMES

March 16, 20188 yr Author Thanks Ed! As I began to built up my sim more than 10 years ago including AI traffic, there will be more AI surprises as I keep flying. Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
March 16, 20188 yr Good to see these epics of aviation remembered. I boarded one Russian aircraft back in the 80's when they flew out for an air show after Reagan negotiated a nuclear deal with Gorbachev. I had such euphoria back then at the prospect of the US and Russia becoming allies again, given my Italian-Lithuanian roots and Russia's protecting Lithuania from the word not allowed's. Maybe one day those heady days of the Berlin wall falling and peace will be remembered. I remember how the Romanian soldiers turned against their despotic leader and fought for their people, freeing Romania from Despotism. I hope Russia sweeps thru thru the ranks of those who want to take the wealth of their people and returns it to them. Russians are hardy people, they know how to endure. John
March 18, 20188 yr Author Thanks John for commenting and sharing your memories here. Lithuania is on my list of countries still to visit. But this year I'll first visit Georgia again - maybe you recognized Tbilisi airport at the pictures. Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
