TERPS Charts Not Displaying

Featured Replies

Tried the above, didn't work. HOWEVER...

I notice now that when I open TERPs, the boxes at the top for APPR, DIAG, SID and STAR are all missing. Instead, there is a single box labelled INFO with a blue runway icon.

Suggests to me that the program (2020 v.2.6.2.3_x64_R2 Navigraph AIRAC cycle 2113) is not properly installed or somehow corrupted?

No, that's normal until you have entered an ICAO airport code that has charts available.

Also, remember to check the Local Charts option box to get the local PDF file structure to work.

I just tested it using 2.6.3.0 Public Beta 2d and it works fine.

Almost there. This is what happens now when I select TERPs button:

frmTERPs window opens (is it normal to see the window labels? It reminds me of programming in my MS Access days)

Click on ICAO button and dlgAlphaPadTERPs window opens.

Enter airport ICAO code on keyboard that appears and APPR, DIAG, SID and STAR buttons appear

Select APPR button and dropdown window allows selection of charts in that folder

On selecting a chart, the chart opens but as a window within the frmTERPs window rather than in fullscreen, as it used to before the reinstall.

I guess this tells us that the file structure is OK but what prevents chart from being viewed in fullscreen?

Hi Dave.

I am still left with TERPs problem that pdf chart opens in its own little window on the TERPs page rather than filling the whole screen - it's really unusable. I have looked at the settings in Adobe Acrobat Reader (Preferences>General) but can't find anything obvious to explain why this is happening.

The other issue that's come to my attention is that P2ATC is not exporting flight plans to networked X-Plane 11 on Y drive. Path in P2ATC is set to Y:\Output\FMS plans.

The TERPs window is working as designed.  It's not supposed to open in full screen mode.

You can resize the TERPs window, zoom in and out, move the chart around, all just like in a real EFB.

P2ATC can only export flight plans to locations it has permission to write to.  That may not include networked locations by default.

Hi Dave

Solving the issues above has come to a halt as for no reason I can fathom, I am suddenly unable to connect P2A to X-P11.

XPWideclient (ver 2.0.0.2 64bit) is running and is sending multicast from 192.168.8.103 to client 192.169.8.102 (I can see the numbers changing). These IP addresses have not changed.

Windows Defender is allowing xpwideclient.exe to communicate on the private network.

I have switched off AVG Internet Security and have checked the other items you recommend viz.

1.    Make sure you are running the latest version (2.5.0.5R3 as of this writing)
2.    Be sure you are connected to the internet
3.    English-US Language installed and set as Primary Language
4.    Working Microphone installed and set as Default Sound Input device in Windows
5.    Valid Call Sign – Try using the default call sign of Mfg: Beech; Tail Number: N431VB.  Press the Save button.
6.    Try running the program in Administrator mode by right clicking on the Pilot2ATC.exe file and selecting “Run as Administrator”

What could I have missed or broken?

You need XPUIPC running on the X-Plane server.  You DO NOT need to have multicast running at all.

Then, on the client machine, you run XPWideClient.

You should get matching versions of XPUIPC and XPWIdeClient.  Here is a good source.

http://www.schiratti.com/xpuipc.html

And looking again at the flight plan export problem, it should probably be exporting to Y:\X-Plane\Output\FMS Plans
