June 20, 200619 yr Greetings,I just noticed a new entry on my FS menu from a company called VistaMare. I did a search and found that it is some sort of dll used for a variety of things "behind the scenes", so to speak. The problem is, I have no idea what I installed to get it there. I have nothing from Lago and never did. The latest things I installed were the Realair 172, the new Commander by Shupe & co. and the new G1000 glass panel (sweet by the way).Anyone know if any of those items may have installed this dll from VistaMare? For the record - I'm not crazy about companies installing items on my menu without informing me. If it was buried in some EULA, well, still, shame on them. Just my opinion.AT
June 20, 200619 yr Have you installed anything from Aerosoft recently? They use it as well and FSAddon use it with some of their sceneries and FSCargoCraig
June 20, 200619 yr Aha! I was wondering the same thing, and was at a loss to figure out where it came from. I did recently install the German soccer stadiums from Aerosoft. Now to uninstall, hoping it removes it.If every add-on also adds a menu item, that bar is going to get full.
June 20, 200619 yr Hi, Not sure where else it may come from but it definately comes with Lago's FS Enhanser.

June 22, 200619 yr OK, so how do I remove it (the aerosoft football stadiums)? I can't find an uninstall option, nor any instructions in the readme, nor any hints on Aerosoft's web page. I don't see it in my add-on scenery folder, so I'm lost. Any suggestions?
June 23, 200619 yr During the install process the Aerosoft Football stadium asks you if you want to install AeroCore.dll in the module folder. This file makes the "Aerosoft" entry in the FS9 menu. The option is usually unticked. In case you ticked the box during install just go to your modules folder and delete the file AeroCore.dll. The program installs other 2 dll-files without asking: ViMaIScn.DLL and ViMaCore2004.DLL. You may try to delete them also (back them up first)and try if all your programs are still running OK.These files are, however, needed for other programs from Lago (and probably Aerosoft) - so be carefull with deleting those two.Peter
June 23, 200619 yr the 2 Vistamare VIMA... DLLs are needed for the sound effects of the football stadiums. You can hear audience noise around the stadiums. There is nothing wrong with these DLLs, they are used by Lago as well for the sound effects of their sceneries, e.g. Emma Field and GeoRender. The 'Aerosoft' entry in the FS9 menu-bar comes from the 'Aerocore.dll', this dll can be deleted from the modules folder without a problem.Hope this helps.Cheers,Michael
