Flight planner/British airports

Featured Replies

Robbie, to cure the blurry textures, set your environmental texture size to 'massive'....as it says in the manual/read-me. That should fix the problem!

thanks, but could you tell me exactly were to find it? As in, my documents...

Robbie,A problem with FS9, I believe. I have never been able to select "Search Add-On Scenery" in the Flight Planner - either VFR or IFR - and I have most of Gary S' airfields either direct from him or on a Just Flight CD.BTW, there a some effective freeware flight planners around if you wish to try a search on AVSIM.John R

thanks, but that problem has been solved. I just need to know where to find the files of british airports so i can cure the blury problem.

sorry for double posting, but this is driving me insane. I can't find the file or thing to adjust the enviromental rubbish to cure blury taxi-ways. Here is a screen shot...TAXI.jpgDoes any one know EXACTLY where to find the thing to cure the blury texture? I'm a bit stupid on finding things.thanks for your help so far, robbie :)

Robbie,Do a search using 'blurry' in this forum and you will find plenty of discussion. Some theads will probably provide you with the answer. As I don't suffer them it's difficult to provide a solution.

Robbie,Now that you have posted your system spec it gives us a clue to your problems. Your graphics card is very underpowered for FS9 and I suggest you turn down the graphic levels until things improve. You don't say what monitor and resolution you're running but if it's 1280*1024 LCD then try 1024*768. Not as sharp but the reduced number of pixels may help.Cheers,

Robbie,If it only happens with British Airports scenery then all I can suggest you do is ask on their forum using the above link. Make sure you post your system spec.Good luck.

Sorry, i ain't posting on there. I posted something about the flight plan problem on sunday and still no reply.I'm sending e-mails to them instead. Thanks for your help :)robbie

But Sunday is only 3 days ago. Come on, this is a hobby and even the people that run support forums for commercial add-ons have other real world lives as well (I speak from experience here). To say that you won't post there because you've had no answer after 3 days is rather shooting yourself in the foot methinks.Rob Elliott, EGPE InvernessPSS Airbus Support andAirbus Fleet Training Captain, British Airways Virtual [email protected]http://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/airbus.htmlhttp://www.bavirtual.co.uk

I can always rely on this forum anyway.
