July 22, 200619 yr I highly doubt that date.MS have only just started shipping Beta 2, and there will be 5 beta's before final release.
July 22, 200619 yr I have bo idea if that date is correct or not and nor do the vendors. However, I'd be surprised if we didn't see FSX either then or before.
July 22, 200619 yr Hi,They are guessing, just like every other web site out there.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://dot.kelder.net:8080/fseconomy/
July 22, 200619 yr Well now wait a minute. If free copies of FSX are going to be given away at the AVSIM Conference in mid September, then how can FSX be released later than that?Or is the give-away going to be a voucher, for a free copy of FSX at a later date??Rhett Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
July 22, 200619 yr Quote from Tom's pinned message above:"Due to the timing of the release of FS-X, you may be given a boxed copy of the product, or you may be sent the product from the AVSIM Fulfillment Center upon release after the AVSIM Convention. The timing will be dependent upon the MS release schedule!"
July 23, 200619 yr Oh. Well it will be a voucher then, because September sure ain't "Holiday 2006". Anything from late Oct on is fair game though.Rhett Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
July 23, 200619 yr Author It is all speculation at this point. We will know soon enough when FSX will hit the streets. Until then I am prepared to see many, many more posts like this one. There is no gain of speculating at this point. I can pre-order at Amazon right now as well, so I don't see the big news that some other website is accepting pre-orders? :-hmmm Noone will have a final version of FSX on their HDD before it's officially released anyway.Pat
