Flight planner in 4.3

Featured Replies

I'm sorry if this was already reported before and I either missed it or am completely blind. Sooo, when I import PFPX plan into P3D, it usually assigns the starting location at the originating airport at the active runway. In 4.2 I was able to change that to a specific gate, it would hold the imported plan, I'd overwrite and all would be well. In 4.3 it wipes out my imported plan and creates its own. Am I the only one or is this a bug?

I have had this issue as well.  My work around has been to just reload the saved plan and it appears to utilize my saved plan on the second upload within Prepar3D.

Several pages already covered at P3D forum.

It is a BUG! Proposed workaround at LM: load it 2 times. The second time it should be correct.

I have a problem with the workaround because as soon as you then select a GATE, the FPLN will be erased again.

Thanks Gerald. I guess I have to get into a habit of visiting LM's message board, we never had this kind of support with MS so I continue to forget it even exists. Seems like it was recognized by them and will be addresses in the next version. Appreciate the link Sir. 🙂
