It depends of what the airport developer decided. But coding for the legacy lighting takes longer as you have to build two textures per object, one for day and one for night. The future is DL nothing else. Simbol Oficial Website: https://www.FSReborn.com Discord Channel: https://discord.gg/XC82TqvKQ3
August 4, 20187 yr I agree that dynamic lighting is the future. However, if no "standard lighting" options are included with some P3D v4 airport addons, then that is something that users thinking about upgrading to P3D v4 from earlier versions of P3D (or FSX) need to know about! If you do not have a PC powerful enough to run detailed airport addons with dynamic lighting enabled, then you could be in for a nasty surprise. August 4, 20187 yr Dynamic lighting......just when the hardware is starting to run p3d well this gets thrown into the mix and developers jump on it to implement it and we are back to chasing performance. Now this would be fine if when the end user turns off said feature that there is a “normal” lighting option as backup, but no, you get nada, zilch. It’s actually like we are going backwards in some ways. Glenn Ryzen 3700X, X570 Pro Wifi, 32GB 3600mhz RAM, Nvidia Titan Xp "Galactic Empire", RM750x PSU, H700 case, 2x NVMe M2 SSD, 1x SATA SSD
