Here is the grand old lady who the DC6 was modelled on. V5-NCG sitting on the tarmac at Eros (FYWE) Windkoek Namibia.

I have the pleasure of working with one of the original crew who flew this ship, Capt Alwyn Bierman, know to all in the Namibian aviation industry as Kappi. I named a waypoint after him on one of the FYWE RNP APCH procedures I did in 2016.

We have been trying to get the covers removed and get a few more shots internally. If we manage that I will post.
