Active Sky VI and FSBuild - how to edit my config file?

Featured Replies

Hi All,No, there is no Active Sky folder outside of the Modules folder. The last time that happened was for AS wxRE. The only time this is not true is with a network install where FS04 is not on the WideFS machine. There should be no c:program filesAS AnythingAll AS folders should be in the Modules folder.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

Helps me a great bit - also - I am running FS build 2.2. I believe this is the latest version, no?Chris

I appologize and stand-corrected Jim, thanks for the info. I guess I've been running a WideFS/network setup so long, I completely missed the transition of how a normal/non-WideFS AS setup is performed. Once again, my appologies, it was not my intention to lead you astray Chris. "You learn something new everyday"Chris, yes, FSB2 v2.2.2 should be the lastest version. For future reference, please post any ActiveSky related questions or ideas in the AVSIM AcitveSky forum directly. It can be found here:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=171Good luck...

Hi All,Can we take this over to the AS Forum like I thought we were going to do?Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

Feel free to copy my responses but this is mainly an FSB problem in interfacing to AS6. The menu based selection has been fixed in the 2.22 beta update as noted and posted on the FSB forum. As you know I'm a very satisfied AS6 user. There is also an active thread regarding this on the FSB forum with current responses by its developer, Ernie Alston.I just wanted to finish up the FSB part rather than leave things hanging here.

Hey Ron:My FSB version says:FSB 2.2 Build 184. Is this the same as FSB 2.22 Beta?ThanksChris Catalano

No. You need 2.2.2 Build 196. Follow the limk I sent or get it on the FSB forum pinned at the top. It is a beta but I have not had any problems. I also posted this on the AS forum and maybe the FSB forum. It is a quick download as I recall even for us modem types :) .
