ACARS turn around

Featured Replies

After I finish a flight, how do you end the flight in acars so I can start another leg? It shows that it is done but no way to reset for another flight, at least the way I see it.

Thank you,

Anthony Marquis

Haven’t tried it personally yet, but you probably need to close the flight on the EFB.

Yeah, this is one of my recurring rants.  As it is with the real thing, the logout can take 15 min so I learned to plan my work around that.  During that time I'll plan the next segment, select fuel using the performance data charts in the FCOM, fuel the aircraft, etc.  Eventually the POSTFLIGHT page will turn into PREFLIGHT and you can then proceed with preflighting your FMS.  One note of caution is that if you leave the CDU screen on the ACARS MENU page waiting for PREFLIGHT you won't see it... one has to change pages and return to the menu screen to see the change.
