If RAAS shows up in your ADDONs menu, then you know the problem is not running Make Runways with your addon scenery, or the the scenery designer has done something non-standard.

If RAAS does *NOT* show up in your ADDONS menu after about 40 seconds, then the problem is usually your dll.xml is corrupted.

I ran Makerunways and still nothing coming from RAAS. I ran audio test and I still don't hear anything from that test results. What are the next steps?

Okay, RAAS is loading for you.  That's a good thing.

So if you hear no audio during the Audio Test, that means you have a sound issue.

Start by checking the Audio troubleshooting section on the bottom of this page:

Hello all

I have the same problem as he described above. The locked RAAS works perfectly in the all the other PMDG 747 version except the freighter version.

Can anyone help me? I would highly appreciate it.

Is RAAS enabled as an option for your specific model?

Did you run any programs that might have changed the aircraft.cfg file?  Especially weights.

 

Yes, I have enabled RAAS in the specific model.

I don't think so that I have run any programs which changed the aircraft.cfg file.

Send me a support ticket.  I'd like to see your aircraft.cfg file via a remote deskop.

That's fine, but I'd like to "see" your setup if possible.

I'm 99 percent sure it's the aircraft.cfg.
