It works in 4.3

Yes, works in V4.3 ... oddly when I set it to High Quality mode performance is actually better?

Cheers, Rob.

Thanks guys. I see there’s a complement to this, EnvTex. Any comments on this?

Cheers,

Mark

It is very good.  Works very well with ASCA.  Some of the best sky textures around.  Kinda depends what u are currently using for texture replacements to justify the purchase.

I use it, the cloud sets they provide work very well with HiFi AS4 and I like their sky textures.  I prefer softer clouds as they seems more realistic to me and perform better.

Per Maxime of Toga Projects, the main difference is the clouds and cloud shadows quality.  Here is a list of what EnvShade does:

Atmosphere
 Atmosphere scattering
 Low horizon haze effect with thickness and color depending on season
- Sky
 Saturation depends on altitude and weather
- Clouds
 Shadows effectiveness adjusted
 Well balanced colors round the clock
 Brightness variating with weather, time of day, sun and moonlight
 Saturation variates with weather and power of sunlight
 Directionnal sun lighting corrected in P3Dv4
- Water
 Saturation and tone depends on weather
 Reflection variates with altitude
 View angle darkness depends on altitude and time of day
 Waves size depends on altitude and weather (for non-ultra water settings)
- Terrain & autogen
 Shadows effectiveness adjusted
 Saturation depends on weather
 Brightness variating with sun and moonlight adjusted
- Lights
 Adjusted night lights brightness
 Smooth day/night transition
 Brightness and visibility variate with altitude
- Aircraft
 Internal brightness variating with sun and moonlight adjusted
 External brightness variating with sun and moonlight adjusted
- HDR enhancements
 Eye's adaptation to brightness adjusted
 Adaptative Bloom, effectiveness variates with time of day
 Realistic night brightness with soft day/night transitions
 Adjusted and adaptative contrast depending on visibility
 Adaptative brightness depending on visibility

I forgot that I had this software since I upgraded to 4.3.

I got it set up last night and my sim environment looks a whole lot better.

Thank you,
