GTN 750 ISSUES

Featured Replies

I tried to install the gtn 750 just as a pop-up gauge. When I put in a flight plan the G1000 doesn’t follow it.  None of my waypoints transfer to the mfd or pfd. It doesn’t give my distance and the flight director doesn’t move. Any help to get the GTN working would be appreciated.

GTN 750s and G1000s typically do not work together..

You pretty much need to rip out the G1000 MFD and replace it..

Fair amount of work..

I'm very interested to replace the GPS in the MFD by the Reality XP GTN750. Do you use the RXP or Flight1 GTN? I think most of the work should be similar for both systems.  I looked at the panel.cfg yesterday. It seems that all parts of the MFD (engine gauges, GPS, etc) are included in one single gauge (.cab) file. The challange is to seperate the engine gauges from the rest.

Like Bert said, you have to rip it apart and rebuild the gauge to get it working.
