  1. Yes, same thing here. The SR22 flies always nose up in level flight. I noticed 3 degrees nose up at 165 kts at 6000 ft. Thats definitly strange. That behavior seems to result in a too high pitch in the landing flare. It's the same with the Virus and the DA40. I wonder that it's not discussed in the forums.
  2. Forget it....it was my fault. Everything works fine! I also removed CarenadoNavigraph.dll and CMeteo.dll from FSX which I don't need with the GTN. This results in much better performanche on my system.
  3. Many thanks for your great mod. I have just one little problem. The CDI needle is not linked to the GTN, when in GPS mode. It still follows the stock G1000 GPS. Any ideas?
  4. Sounds good! I'm looking forward to try it out.
  5. Great job! Will it work with the RXP GTN too?
  6. I experienced some more bugs. On mostly half of my flights I'm loosing VNAV. The plane continues to climb at a fixed rate of 100 fpm. No way to hold the selectet altitue from the flight plan. Should be not so bald just to use the ALT mode instead of VNAV. But we know the MFD only tracks the flight plan in VNAV mode! Yesterday I lost VNAV again and 30 minutes later I completley lost the NAV mode. There was no way to recover it. It's annoying. The plane by itself is really nice, but the G1000 makes it unusable. It's not my fist Carenado G1000, but in this plane it's the worst they ever made.
  7. I'm very interested to replace the GPS in the MFD by the Reality XP GTN750. Do you use the RXP or Flight1 GTN? I think most of the work should be similar for both systems. I looked at the panel.cfg yesterday. It seems that all parts of the MFD (engine gauges, GPS, etc) are included in one single gauge (.cab) file. The challange is to seperate the engine gauges from the rest.
  8. The RXP GTN 750 integration would be a great solution. I hope someone will do that. I'm not familiar with those kind of tweaks and modifications.
  9. I'm with you Scott. My first impression was really good. The plane flies good, looks good and sounds good. They added the ECU test as well. I thought wow, they really made a great product this time. Then I did the first IFR flights that turned into frustration in between minutes. I spent 70% of my flying time fighting their G1000. Entering flight plans and approach procedures is a nightmare. Waypoint change is only working with VNAV enabled and so on. That's why I'm looking for a way to disable all the Navigraph stuff to make the G1000 work with FSX default navigation like all other Carenados without Navigraph extension. But I have no idea if it's possible. Their support doesn't really care.
  10. In older G1000 planes Navigraph was an optional extension package. Now in the DA62 it's included by default. Does anybody know a trick how to deactivate or remove the Navigraph function to make the G1000 work without it?
  11. I can confirm this. Yesterday I wanted to make a demonstration video for the Carenado support. I wanted to keep it as simple as possilbe. I just flew from one airport to another with 2 simple waypoints between. No approach procedure programmed. This time everthings worked fine. But if I have an approach procedure loaded in my flight plan, the CDI points only to the first waypoint the whole flight while the autopilot follows the complete flight plan correctly.
  12. They just asked me for a video of this issue too. They seem to be interested in this. We should all send them one, if they ask for it. So there is hope for a fix.
  13. Same here...waypoint change doesn't work. That really kills the usability of the G1000. That needs to be fixed. But I don't think Carenado will do that. They just ignored my ticket with the fuel system bug, which I made a work around for by myself at the end. If there will be a fix available some day (I hope), then it's made by the AVSIM community. By the way I got rid of the CTD's by moving from the FSX boxed version to the Steam Edition.
  14. It's getting even worse. Since I installed version 1.2 FSX crashes on every flight with the DA62. I enter a flight plan, take off and on the leg to the first way point fsx crashes after an couple of minutes. Carenado is on the best way that I'm not gonna buy their products any more. The last planes I purchased (Phenom 100, SR22, DA62) turned into a terrible bug fight with no support from Carenado.
  15. It's the same way how it's made in the Alabeo DA42.
  16. Has anyone found a way to import flight plans in the G1000?
  17. Yes, it's v1.1. I tested it before I made my changes in the aircraft.cfg, but it was not fixed in v1.1 in fsx.
  18. Yes, the CDI points the GPS course in the VC (not like in the SR22 where it's not working). I didn't checked the flight plan way Point changing yet, cause I wasn't able to import a fsx flight plan in the G1000 and didn't want to enter it manually today. So I just used "direct to destination" yet.
  19. Did a little work around for the fuel system today, to make the fuel in the aux tanks usable. In the aircraft.cfg I replaced this: [fuel] //Longitudinal (feet), Lateral (feet), Vertical (feet), Usable(gallons), Unusable (gallons) fuel_type = 2 number_of_tank_selectors = 2 LeftMain = -1, -3, 0, 26.0, 1.0 RightMain = -1, 3, 0, 26.0, 1.0 //LeftAux = -1, -5, 0, 18.5, 0.3 //RightAux = -1, 5, 0, 18.5, 0.3 external1= -1, -5, 0, 18.5, 0.3 external2= -1, 5, 0, 18.5, 0.3 with this; [fuel] //Longitudinal (feet), Lateral (feet), Vertical (feet), Usable(gallons), Unusable (gallons) fuel_type = 2 number_of_tank_selectors = 2 LeftMain = -1, -3, 0, 26.0, 1.0 RightMain = -1, 3, 0, 26.0, 1.0 LeftAux = -1, -5, 0, 18.5, 0.3 RightAux = -1, 5, 0, 18.5, 0.3 //external1= -1, -5, 0, 18.5, 0.3 //external2= -1, 5, 0, 18.5, 0.3 It makes FSX using the fuel in the aux tanks first and then it switches to the main tanks automatically. So you can use the whole fuel capacity on long flights,
  20. Did a couple of flights today. I really love that one. For me it's the best Carenado/Alabeo plane I ever bought from them. And it's the first Carenado with very good sounds.
  21. First, this is one of the Carenado planes of which I'm not disappointed. I really enjoy it very much. But I noticed 2 major bugs in the FSX version: 1. Flight plans are not loaded in the G1000 2. Fuel from the aux tanks is not usable. You just can fill them, but I found no way to use the fuel. They seem to be not directly connect to the engines (like the real DA62) and the transfer pumps (from aus to main tanks) doesn't work. Any idea how to fix it?
  22. Please, can anyone share the gauge files of version 2.0? It's the only way to get it working for me. I purchased the Cirrus after Carenado released version 2.1. So there is no way for me to get back to version 2.0. My idea is to replace all gauge files with the gauges of version 2.0 to get it working.
  23. Thanks for your reply. But I've never used the Navigraph Extension Pack. So the problem is still not solved for me. I returned the Phenom back to Carenado, because they won't fix it til they plan any future release. Some users here report the same problem with the phenom 300.
  24. You're right Scott, their mill process for aircraft design really sucks. They produce massive bugs, which could be verified in a few of minutes of testing. Bugs gonna happen in software development, that's ok. But these kind of bugs relate to "no testing" and/or "we don't care". If you submit a ticket, they don't seem to care anything. I'm impressed how a company in such a small market can afford that bad customer support. Anyway, I tried to fix it by myself without success. Is anyone using version 2.0 and could send me the gauge files? I don't use SVS, so replacing the gauges by the files of version 2.0 should fix it for me. I asked Carenado for the installer of version 2.0, but they won't let go back to their previous version.
