November 5, 20187 yr Is there any difference if I get the Aerosoft A320 from Steam versus getting it from the Aerosoft website?

November 5, 20187 yr Yes there is. Usually they offer no upgrade path for Steam-customers for future versions of the product. Georgian Virtual Airports (UGMS Mestia / UGGT Telavi / UGAM Ambrolauri)
November 5, 20187 yr Unless there's a big discount, I'd recommend getting it direct from Aerosoft. I bought Active Sky for FSX-SE via Steam and that meant when a new version came out I was unable to claim a discount for upgrading it. It's also worth noting that for some add-ons which are FSX compatible but which will work in P3D if you manually install them, if they are Steam FSX-SE versions, you won't be able to do that.
