Well, I did fresh install of my OS and when that was done i got a blue screen that said" IRQL not less or equal". I look the error up and are a few reason why that would happen, but one that came a few times was bad memory. So removed half of 32 GB memory and so far so good. Haven't reinstalled P3D yet.

Does your motherboard BIOS perform memory tests? if you you could add it back again and perform a full test in order to be 100% sure the module is corrupted.

S.

Ok, besides the stuff Simbol said, we need more information now. It can easily be a faulty RAM module, this you find very easy by simply using the one you took out now for some time. If one modules still provides you the same CTD, you found the corrupted one. If not, it is not the RAM module. What we need to know:

- what CPU do you use on which mainboard. Did you overclock?

- what exact RAM do you use. I guess you use the XMP, do you?

- what precise PSU do you use? Did you check each and every power connector to be connected properly?

To me, the whole story sounds a little bit like a badly configured computer running on the edge of stability or a potential PSU failure.

Greetings, Chris

I use the i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz, 4200 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s) on the TUF Z270 MARK 2. I don't overclock.

The ram is x2 - Adata XPG  DDR4 3000(16) 16GX16 CL 16-18-18.

And which PSU? Which cooling solution?

When you put both RAM modules, did you put them in the correct slots (according to the mainboard guide)?

Also are you overclocking the RAM? This can also give similar issues.

When I tried to put the RAM module that i assumed didn't work in the slot by itself i got a red light and yellow light on the motherboard.

Ok, sorry to say, I am out here. If answering the questions is no option, I can not help... and no one else can...
