Hi there,

I'm getting a database error since today saying:

Unable to initialize Database

The underlying provider failed on Open

Cannot open Database

"D:\PILOT2ATC_2018_X64\DATA\P2ADYNAMICDATA.MDF" requested by the login. The login failed.

Login failed for user 'myname'

This shows at 10% load, when I press ok it opens the program but then i cannot import a flightplan as I get error saying it in the wrong format.

Using simbrief, with latest airac 1812.

Any Idea what the problem might be?

The latest Navigraph update, 1812r1, is corrupt.  You need to restore the files back to the previous version until Navigraph puts out a new release.

Okay, thanks.

It had to be something like that as that was the only thing changed.

The updated version from Navigraph 1812 R2 does not work either.  Please do not install it.

There is now a working 1812....R3.

Many users have installed it and reported that it works.

Dave, I had also posted this under the R3 update thread and thought I better post it under bugs. Sorry for the duplication.

Just updated P2A to R3 and re-installed Navigraph 1812 r3. When I tried to launch P2A it said:

"Unable to initialize Database

The underlying provider failed on open.

Cannot open database

"C:\PILOT2ATC_2018_X64\DATA\P2ADYNAMICDATA.MDF" requested by the

login. The login failed.

Login Failed for user "MY COMPUTER NAME\USERNAME"

I have deleted both the Base data and Dynamic data "log.ldf" files you mentioned on another post

Try rebooting the PC to be sure the SQL files are not being used, and then installing the Navigraph 1812R3 again.

Restarted Win 10 and re-downloaded Navigraph 1812 r3 and P2A works OK. Thanks for the help!
