November 23, 20187 yr Bonjour Jean-Luc, I do confirm the presence of the library IOP_B.DLL. I own a 980Ti, 416.34. I was initially using two screens on the same video card before updated to the latest GTN trainer and plugin, then switch to using my Intel HD4600. I though that was the reason for this problem but it turns out it is not (the same problem occurs when only using my two screens on my 980Ti). The "Themes" service is still runing. I am only using the classic theme available from the personalize settings. The problem still occurs when using the Aero theme. Feel free to let me knoiw if you want me to run more test. I will try a few things on my side when time allows. Take care.
November 23, 20187 yr Bonjour! A few more questions to cross-check: 1) Is the trainer running fine standalone? 2) Have you installed the GTN trainer only or the TXi and/or the G500 as well?
November 23, 20187 yr @flaneur I've found additional information I'd like you to cross check with me. Can you please let me know about this: 1) run regedit 2) navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\ 3) for each #### entries (they are 0000, 0001, 0002....) can you please let me know the value of the following keys: OpenGLDriverName OpenGLDriverNameWoW With NVIDIA card, the values could be something like "nvoglv64" and "nvoglv32" respectively.
November 23, 20187 yr @flaneur Although you have a NVIDIA card, it is worth mentioning this kind of error is widely reported as an ATI driver problem. Here is what I've found: The LoadLibrary failed with error 87 or error 126 is a graphics card / driver issue that can be caused by bugs in the graphics card drivers, unsupported graphics card driver versions, or failed graphics card driver updates. Fixing this problem involves renaming a ".dll" file on the machine. Typically this problem can be fixed by renaming atig6pxx.dll to atig6pxx.dll.bak. This file is typically in the following folder: C:\Windows\System32 An easy way to find the file is to do the following: 1. Click on the Windows start button 2. Type in atig6pxx.dll 3. Once the file appears, right-click and select "Open File Location" 4. Change the name of the file by adding a .bak on the end If the above does not fix the problem, or if the file is not found, the following can be tried: 1. If your graphics card / GPU has an "M" suffix, rename atio6axx.dll to atiogl64.dll 2. If your graphics card / GPU does not have an "M" suffix, rename atio6axx.dll to atio6axx.dll.bak 3. If neither of the above applies or doesn't fix the issue, rename atiogl64.dll to atiogl64.dll.bak Edited November 23, 20187 yr by RXP
November 23, 20187 yr Salut Jean-Luc ! Since you mentioned that running from the sim could make some differences, I've downloaded the latest RXP version : 2.5.8 (with Garmin 6.50.1 configured through GTNSIMDATA & GTNSIMPATH) Still the same errors... But as usual, once all the popups are closed, it runs OK
November 23, 20187 yr @elheroes I thank you for your patience with this. There is definitely something in the trainer which is not right for some of you, and I'm still scratching my head. After days of searching the most relevant info I've found so far is the one posted a few messages above this one. Can you please review the 3 messages starting from here and let me know:https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/544923-error-loadlibrary-failed-when-running-trainer/?page=3&tab=comments#comment-3929748
November 23, 20187 yr Re bonjour @RXP, after carefully reading your posts, here are the information you requested: 1) The trainer runs totally fine in standalone mode. 2) I installed the full package on my computer (G500/600, TXi, GTNs) 3) All entries at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\ are named nvoglv64 (OpenGLDriverName) and nvoglv32 (OpenGLDriverNameWoW). 4) The file you have mentionned does not exist after a full search on my system SSD. Should you need an extraction of my registry or any other information, feel free to let me know. I will investigate now that the weekend has finally come ! For now, please find a screenshot of the windows error message with details expanded: The rest of the message is irrelevant. À bientôt.
November 24, 20187 yr @flaneur thank you for the additional details. It seems the issue you are having is not directly related (only indirectly) to the issue first reported in this discussion in the end. This is interesting nonetheless as we are working on a quick update to v2.5.8 to correct the couple few bugs introduced with it. Edited November 24, 20187 yr by RXP
November 24, 20187 yr Hi, I thank you all for your feedback, I think we've made some progress in regard to the DLL issue. It is a little too late by now, but we have a new build nearly ready for tomorrow morning that we'll publish. It has a couple corrections to the issues reported (HSI rotating) and new code to 'manage' the DLLs issue.
November 24, 20187 yr @RXP reviewing your 3 messages starting from https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/544923-error-loadlibrary-failed-when-running-trainer/?page=3&tab=comments#comment-3929748 1/ you already know it's not working correctly standalone 2/ I also installed the full Garmin package (G500/600, TXi, GTNs) 3/ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\ 0000 OpenGLDriverName = C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\ki125544.inf_amd64_ff9fa74ec6ebb5eb\ig9icd64.dll OpenGLDriverNameWow = C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\ki125544.inf_amd64_ff9fa74ec6ebb5eb\ig9icd32.dll 0001 OpenGLDriverName = C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nvddi.inf_amd64_2341aac88431d6bf\nvoglv64.dll OpenGLDriverNameWow = C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nvddi.inf_amd64_2341aac88431d6bf\nvoglv32.dll 4/ atig6pxx.dll is not present since I've got a NVIDIA card (GTX 1080, last driver 416.94) Edited November 24, 20187 yr by elheroes
November 24, 20187 yr @elheroes thank you. Is this an Intel Integrated Graphics card? In this case, there is an option to 'force' a certain video card adapter to an application, and you might want to try 'forcing' using the NVIDIA only to the GTN trainer application. Please let me know about this one!
November 24, 20187 yr I've got an integrated intel card but i'm not using it My main card is an NVIDIA GTX 1080. I nevertheless checked the use of the main card in the windows settings Regarding your last post : Windows Defender policy couldn't be an issue here since I use Comodo Internet Security (and I did test the Trainer disabling this one)
November 25, 20187 yr a quick note to let you know v2.5.9 update is now released:https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/534857-rxp-gtn-750650-touch-x-plane-v259-released/ I'm hoping this build will work better in regard to the DLL warnings.
