November 15, 20187 yr Statics do not appear to work the same as internal and external presets. I cannot work out how to cycle between them with a key, or go to specific statics via a keypress. Also, I note that I can import a set of camera presets from one aircraft into another, however.... it appears that it does NOT import the assigned button or key presses.... why not ? Thank you. P.S. loving it overall, but still getting a lot of hanging.... usually while assigning keypresses. Flights are fine though.... no crashes or anything. So, hopefully all will be well. November 18, 20187 yr Commercial Member There are no control assignments for Static cameras yet due to the dynamic nature of Static cameras. Keven Menard Technical Director, //42.
November 22, 20187 yr Indeed would make no sense to assign buttons to the dynamic static views. But how about an option to assign buttons to cycle current AVAILABLE views? For example assign button to CYCLE AVAILABLE RUNWAY NEAREST AIRPORT plus CYCLE AVAILABLE GATE NEAREST AIRPORT /CYCLE AVAILABLE PARKING NEAREST AIRPORT. The assignment would have to be assigned to a variable of course which would need to be filled and changed whenever nearest airport changed. I understand this would not be a few minutes coding but instead an added feature. I'd love to cycle through CURRENTLY AVAILABLE airport views while taxiing using an aircraft tracking camera. No rush though.. Product is already an outstanding piece of work! Russell Gough SE London
November 22, 20187 yr Author Yes indeed. I fully appreciate that the software is beta.... I should try not to sound so abrasive. For that I apologise. When it works it is truly superb ! I am merely trying to learn what can, and cannot be achieved at present. I was just wondering, if maybe static, static cameras (i.e. if you are not centering on the aircraft), could be assigned to hotkey.... the issue being when making videos and showing shots of the airport, requires bringing up the menu, potentially spoiling it. Cheers. Edited November 22, 20187 yr by Gabe777
