November 29, 20187 yr I only see one Freedom Tower as an addon. It was written for FSX but can be used in P3D I guess?? What is the folder and path I need to put it in? I created a folder in the P3D scenery folder and extracted the files there, but the tower did not show up. I have the latest P3D. Paul Gugliotta
November 29, 20187 yr Pauly not being a jerk here, but why not just buy the New York City X scenery by Drzewiecki Design? It has everything. November 29, 20187 yr Author I am seriously considering it. But I heard it was a real drain on your frame rates. I have a word not allowed good computer 7700X CPU with Titan X card, but I heard NYC X really slows it down. Any truth? In any event - can you assist me with that path for a single building to add - where is the path to place the files?? Paul Gugliotta
November 29, 20187 yr Commercial Member Just make a folder "WTC NEW" or something in an Addon Scenery Folder, Place the scenery and texture folder in there. Open P3D and add it to the Scenery Library. Very easy. If you have a Titan X being able to run DD's NYC should be the least of your concerns IMO.
November 30, 20187 yr Author I appreciate your response but P3D doesn't have a Addon Scenery Folder. I created a folder in Program files==> Lockhead Martin==> Prepar3Dv4==>scenery added Freedom Tower folder there and then extracted all the files there. But freedom tower doesn't show up. Update - now it shows up. I had to go into P3D start up screen and under scenery add the folder's name. Now I see it. Edited November 30, 20187 yr by paulyg123 Paul Gugliotta

In my experience there's no truth to this, in fact, I think NYC X improves slightly better than the default NYC scenery as crazy as that sounds. It obviously also looks way better. I have NYC X as well as all of the NYC airports with an 8700k and a RTX 2080 and have absolutely no framerate issues flying in/out of NY Edited December 1, 20187 yr by StAgre 7800X3D - RTX 5080 - 64GB DDR5 - Dan C4-SFX
