xtremeprototypes lear 25

Hi,

to which extend is the Learjet supported? Basic things like "gear up/down" "flaps" are certainly working.

I thought I have seen something here in the forum but cannot find it.

Thanks Peter

Only one model from XPrototype aircraft publisher has been interfaced so far. It's the "Learjet 20 series".

It's not impossible both 20 and 25 series share the same VC switches, which would make it possible to extend support to both, and would just need to positively identify the new 25 series as the supported Learjet from XPrototype.

Could you post the [fltsim.0] section found in 25 series "aircraft.cfg"?.

Thanks

Here we go.

description=Nicknamed "fighters in civilian clothing" because of their sleek design and amazing performance, the classic Learjet 20 Series aircraft were the first true executive jets and redefined business aviation during the 1970’s. As Learjet's customer's needs evolved and grew, so did the aircraft they came to love. With the longer-range Gates Learjet Model 25D came a longer cabin, increased seating capacity, more flexible loading options, greater fuel capacity and a rather sleek-looking stretched fuselage.

Thanks Peter

Thanks.

Download this 1 file patch

Only apply patch if you're already on latest V2.7.8.0

This will tell MCE to consider both Learjet 20 & 25 series as the already known and well supported 20 series. Interfaced via the "mcxpttX.dll" in \Prepar3D v4\MCE dlls\ folder

See document Start->All Apps->Multi Crew Experience->Learjet commands

Thanks Gerald,

the downloaded patch is "mce-Patch-For-XPrototypes-Only.file". How do I apply this patch?

Peter

Unzip and manually replace "mce.exe" in \Multi Crew Experience\ installation folder.

It is not a zipped file, I do not get an option to unzip.

Maybe security software is trying to protect you, as a zipped exe may look suspicious.

Will upload a fresh one tomorrow.
