December 15, 20187 yr Is there a way to slow down the slew speed...I find it difficult to do really "pinpoint" positioning with the default settings...Thanks a lot! Steve 7 Miles NW of KGCK

Before others chime in with more sophisticated solutions you can start with reducing the sim rate while slewing (I think the minimum is 1/4).
December 15, 20187 yr Are you using keys or a joystick axis? I deleted the key commands for slew left/right and up/down. Under the Flight Mode drop-down in the Axis Assignments, select the Slew category, you can assign your X and Y axis of your joystick for Slew (forward/backward axis) and Slew (sideways axis). And Slew (rotate axis) if you have rudder pedals. I found it is much easier to slew my aircraft around in small adjustments using my rudders and joystick. Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?
December 15, 20187 yr FSX slew speed is related to the sensitivity sliders in the axis calibration menu and applies to both flying and slewing. In P3d v4 you have a separate slew axis calibration control menu, so you can have high sensitivity in your normal x and y axis when flying but low sensitivity in the same x and y in slew mode. This a little known but very welcome feature of p3d. Open the control menu then click on SLEW mode within the calibration sub menu. There you will see slew sensitivity sliders for your stick/yoke. Low sensitivity effectively slows down the slew rate, or at least makes it react less suddenly to small movements.
