December 15, 20187 yr Dear guys, whoever has been responsible for this... There are scratches in the ENG4 drive disconnect cover latch. Please be more gentle with your aircraft, they have a soul, too, you know? tsstss (Love that detail :D) And yes, I haven't noticed it before xD Edited December 15, 20187 yr by Ephedrin ,
December 22, 20187 yr More often than not entering the flight deck on a -400 one is confronted with a cesspit of human disgustingness. Dirt, crumbs and spillage on the deck, smudged glass and CDUs {they're not touchscreens, people!), dried coffee stains in the cupholders and an overall sense of cruddiness pervade. The 767s I fly now tend to be cleaner but not because the company makes any effort to clean them over and above. People are gross... What you need is a change of airline or more female pilots and ground engineers for your 400's! You will find that not only are the flight decks clean, but the language used by male flight crew when telling stories and jokes is even cleaner! On second thoughts, I forgot you were reminiscing about your -400 freighters, sorry!😁 Bertie Goddard
December 23, 20187 yr The more dirt and wear and tare added into the 747 the better. I think the glare-shield could do with some wear and tear love, my BA 747 fleet cockpits need some 'lived in features' Edited December 23, 20187 yr by shamrockflyer
December 23, 20187 yr Personal preference, I suppose. I'd prefer to have mine in one piece. Captain Kevin Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway 4 left, cleared for take-off. Live streams of my flights here.
