December 16, 20187 yr Hi Folks, I use Chaseplane and jack my position in the cockpit a little higher over the glare shield - I'm tall... When the attitude of the aircraft is level - it seems the view out the front appears to be too steep of a decent to correlate properly... What's the parameter to play with this angle - the view as it relates to the model - the one in the aircraft.cfg or panel.cfg ? I want the default reference view to be looking a little more straight out the front - more aligned with the horizon in level flight... Thanks... Regards, Scott

Regards, Scott The [view] section in the aircraft.cfg can only adjust for x y and x. No angle. Oh and the view is already horizontal to the model. So when you pan the view is always level. It may be your program causing the issue. Edited December 16, 20187 yr by Flysimware

Regards, Scott I used to fiddle around with this in FS9, so it has been awhile, but I believe its in the panel.cfg file view_forward_dir Enables you to change the default value of the view direction. Enter values for Pitch, Bank, and Heading. Sheldon "Bill" Williams
