T2G MCO

Recommended Posts

That's the problem with T2gate very few are officially made for P3Dv4 5 year old scenery patched that's why I only have 2 of there airports, and how they charge more for an old scenery patched than a new made for P3Dv4.

In the mean time Orbx CityScene Orlando is now released, I’m off to try it out.

Let us know how it works with T2G KMCO. I just installed it last night, installed 1.2 update, the bridge fix, then dissabled both KMCO bgls in ftx vector, and patched 26210 bgl. No black boxes, no tree issues, no light issues, I have also used newest AFCAD from Umriel on https://jcai.dk/2019/01/taxi2gate-kmco-orlando-international-airport/

Well, although I’ve bought T2G KMCO through sim market I’m unable to get past the copy protection and install it. Sim market say it’s a problem with no name being in my registry. I’m not too keen to start messing with registry things so I’ve just left it alone. I’ve been using the nimbus KMCO in x-plane as an alternative which is a fantastic airport product, should you also use x-plane.

Having just flown around the new Orbx KMCO I can confirm that the CityScene is great but the KMCO really needs a proper commercial add on airport to go with it,the included upgraded airport isn’t up to much (they did warn us) Hopefully Orbx have something in the pipeline.

I had the same problem when trying to install Doha and Hong Kong, however - a quick search of the internet came up with results which fixed the issue, yes it does involve adding an entry into the registry but if you're willing to get any scenery up and running then its worth it imo.

Thanks Ciaran, I was hanging on to see just how upgraded the orbx KMCO was before going any further. I might start delving into the inner workings now then and get T2G up and running

I know this is an old thread.  But wondering if somebody can help.  I followed the instructions and turned off the scenery/texture:

-KMCO-ARBOYLES_LM.OFF

-KMCO-WINDOWS_lm.OFF

(even tried deleting them all together).  But I'm still getting the runway/taxi signs in the middle of the runway/taxiway?  Any advice?

Other question.  And it may be related.  Noticed that the installer creates a KMCO folder and KMCO-terrain.  I only added the KMCO.  Is that correct for P3DV4?

disregard.  I turned the APX26210.bgl off like a few others and taxi signs are gone.

There's a more targeted way than just killing off the airports in the entire grid square, which is what disabling the APX file does.

Open KMCO_AF.bgl with ADE, go to Tools -> Load Stock Data and check taxi signs.  Once the default taxi signs are loaded into the ADE, then go to Lists ->Taxi Signs, click on "select all" then "delete".  This places a tiny exclusion box around every one of the signs which were showing through from the default scenery.  Compile the ADE and place it into the scenery folder, and rename the original to KMCO_AF.OFF.
