December 24, 20187 yr Hi, Had this once with my 4K Monitor. Solution was to set "maximum performance" in the NVIDIA driver panel ( instead of "optimised performance"). Frame rate slider should be set to Unlimited. I had the same problem and that fixed it. Ray (Cheshire, England).
