I would be interested in this as well, as I will probably want to take advantage of PBR at some point.

No, unless you've made any changes to default content. It is possible that some addon could alias some default content and be affected but I am not aware of any that do.

I always update both client and content. Has never affected any of my addons (PMDG, ORBX, etc).

That's good to know, thanks guys...

I have the full suite of ORBX installed, plus REX 4 texture direct with soft clouds, PTA, and a boatload of add on airport scenery's and aircraft from a variety of vendors, and I wouldn't want to have problems with any of that stuff due to the content update.

Hey guys, I seem to remember reading a thread here recently that said the content update will wipe out some of the default aircraft that were installed in v4.3, do you know which ones specifically..??

All Beechcraft Textron planes were removed. (Bonanza, Baron, KA350 & Texan)

Crapola..!! 

I would really like to retain the Baron and King Air.... Any simple way to do that..??

I really appreciate your advice and suggestions BTW.  🙂
