December 26, 20187 yr First of all, thank you Flysimware for this wonderful bird. However I´m having some difficulties trying to figure out how to start/use the APU, since it won´t start when I do what is described in the "OPERATION" text just above the buttons in the VC (see here: http://sendvid.com/9odhegxq ), so I´d be very glad if someone would tell me what I´m doing wrong. And also if someone could tell me where I can connect the GPU into the power circuit, that would be great, because up until now I´ve used Engine 2 as a "replacement" for the APU like it´s described in a checklist I found online. Thanks sven sappa

December 26, 20187 yr On the overhead electrical panel, both batteries must be on. There are three rotary bus tie switches. The outboard switches must be vertical. The center (main) bus tie switch must be horizontal. The number 2 (center) fuel boost pump switch must be “on”. If these conditions are met, the APU master switch will illuminate steady green when pressed. You should then press the GEN button so it illuminates white. You may now press the START button. Once the APU is up to full speed, the start light will go off, and the APU generator will come online automatically. There is a toggle switch on the upper left side of the overhead panel marked “NORM” and “EXT POWER”. Move it to the external power position once the GPU is connected.
