January 5, 20197 yr Never been a FS2Crew user but I'm interesting in getting the Maddog version, but I'd like to know if the addon works fully behind the scenes. I've read that there is the control panel window where buttons are pressed, status are shown, etc, but I'd like to know if it is possible to hide that window all the times, whether using the voice version or the button version. That's because I don't like other windows showing other than the aircraft's own panel. I'd also like to now if FS2Crew works in an aircraft turnaround environment, I mean, I start a flight with the airplane at the gate usually on ground power or APU already set, IRS assumed to be already aligned, all the plethora of tests (fire, TAWS, TCAS, etc) assumed to be already performed and so on. Or does it need to be cold and dark every time? Thanks! Best regards, Wanthuyr Filho Instagram: AeroTacto
January 6, 20197 yr Commercial Member Hi Wanthuyr, 1. You can fly with the control window closed. You don't need it open all the time. If you ever need to confirm where you are in the program (ie., what mode you're in), you can pop the window open to look. I'd recommending keeping the control panel open while you're getting used the program. Once you have it memorized and know exactly what's happening next, then keep it off for the full flight. 2.Yes, we model turns in FS2Crew products. On the 2nd leg, the FO will only perform his/her turn items. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

So, just checking if I understood correctly, the capability of starting a flight with the cockpit already partially set up is only possible after the second flight? The first flight will always need to start cold and dark? Best regards, Wanthuyr Filho Instagram: AeroTacto
January 6, 20197 yr Commercial Member No, first leg does not have to be cold and dark. Getting a cold and dark cockpit would be rare in the real-world. You can start with a warm cockpit. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
