January 22, 20197 yr As quoted in the subject, default airport buildings disappear and re-appear in regard of the hat-view angle. An ADEX exclude may help, but doesn't eliminate the problem. This does not happen during daylight. I 'm sure I 'm not the only one to notice that. Is it an FSX known issue ? If yes, what's the solution or a workaround to it ? Thanks for your time. January 22, 20197 yr Administrators So in an outside view looking at a building from a low angle it looks OK, but if you angle upwards the building disappears? This is a known issue at some default airports in FSX. Whoever designed the buildings didn't use enough concrete or plaster. Sort of a "now you see it....now you don't"! Maybe someone has done a better job on the buildings. What airport in particular? Van Nuys in SoCal was the one I saw that at. There are both freeware and payware addons available for Liege if you are particularly interest in that airport but, if you are seeing this at other airports, you might want to consider Rex Worldwide Airports HD which will considerable improve the appearance of all default airports and should help your problem. Rex products are frequently available in sales at discount prices. Bill
January 23, 20197 yr This may or may not help you in your situation, but I've noticed a similar problem at other airports where some buildings disappear at various zoom settings or at various view angles if the Autogen setting is set to None. They however remain visible if Autogen is set to Sparse or above. Chris
