To my fellow simmers:Whether it runs great on your machine or just barely, this demo is another proof that the Microsoft Aces are listening to the flightsim community. They are implementing many of the suggestions we have made. They are participating in the forums. They took the time (which they probably had little of to spare) and the trouble to prepare and release this demo to the community. For all of this we owe them a sincere debt of thanks! (Remember the bad old days when they were unreachable and untouchable?) Please join me in thanking them!To the Microsoft Aces:Guys and gals, a very sincere thank you for all of your hard work and sacrifice. The demo clearly demonstrates that FSX is going to be a significant step forward! The water is gorgeous! The new land and sea traffic is wonderful! The many new view options are a big plus! The frame rates for many of us are surprisingly smooth considering the additional visual detail involved. I'm sure it must be exciting to you to see that your hard work is finally really beginning to pay off.We can hardly wait for the official release! Go Aces!!-Rick

I wholeheartedly agree! Preliminary experience with the demo has convinced me this will be another hugely successful release for the FS franchise! The overall richness of the experience is noteworthy and many improvements (especially right-clicking without pausing the sim) are terrific!Hats off to the ACES team. Your new opennesss and willingness to go keyboard to keyboard with the community is welcomed and refreshing! Kudos! I agree! Even if it runs like .... on my computer I can still see the great work being put behind it. There are so many options we all have been waiting for. I hope it will run good on my new computer, which I buy early next year.A big thanks from here - keep it up!

Well said,I whole heartedly agree. This beta is proof that we have indeed left those bad old days behind and that we look fordward to more of the new MS.Well done ACES team, as I have said before, this demo hardly begins to scratch the surface of the potential of this new version.Cheers and thanks again,Chris Porter:-outtaPerthWestern Australia
