February 8, 20197 yr Hello, I am looking for a landing rate monitor that will output any landing events to a file, potentially including speed, bank, wind speed and direction, etc. Does anyone know of one that exists? I have tried Lord of the Landings 1.7 and 1.8, however, both spit out some error about not having the correct side-by-site configuration. Cheers, Tom Edited February 8, 20197 yr by dotmicron
February 8, 20197 yr Administrators I looked in the file library here before searching using Google. (hint, hint) That should always be your first step. https://lrmclient.org/ Charlie AronAVSIM Board of Directors-ADMIN/Moderator-RegistrarJust going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!
February 8, 20197 yr Author Cheers for the suggestion Charlie! I already have this and it works perfectly, however I am looking for something that will save this data to a text file locally, which the LRM client does not.
February 9, 20197 yr Not much help because I don't have the skills, but it might be something doable using LUA using FSUIPC. You might try poking around the FSUIPC support forum.
February 9, 20197 yr I wrote a program that saves your flight information, including touchdowns, to a text file. It's a virtual copitlot; so, it may be more than what you're looking for; nevertheless, it will do what you request. If all you want is a program that writes vSpds to text files, I can do that tomorrow in about 5 min. Let me know.... https://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=FSFO+v2&CatID=root&Go=Search Matt King
February 9, 20197 yr Author Cheers Ernest, I'll look into it. Matt, I'll try out your virtual copilot thing, and I'll get back to you, thanks!

It's done, Dot; it took 10 minutes so it's really basic, and untested! It automatically records the parameters you requested to a txt file in the programs main directory. Give me your email and I'll send you the setup.exe Matt King
