August 9, 200619 yr With simulataneous releases of both beta and demo, i guess it's time to reveal PC specs to run FSX with min and max settings. Or...let me rephrase it...P4-3.2-800/2GB-DDR400/X800PRO256-AGP...Shoud it work? :-)

If you want a test, go download the Dark Messiah of Might and Magic demo or the Company of Heroes beta. If you can run those at higher settings you should be set.
August 9, 200619 yr haha. You should have no problems. With your setup, you needn't worry about the min specs 'cause you'll be way above them, if MS holds to form. :)(by 'holds to form' I mean, MS will probably give very minimal specs, like they are prone to doing in the past)Rhett Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
August 9, 200619 yr Oh, I might add, don't expect to run 'all sliders right' with your setup and get great performance. I have a feeling that won't happen. This ver of FS will probably have the hardware grow into it, rather than the other way around. That's how FSW95, FS98 were. Whereas I think with FS2004 the hardware had less growing in to do.Rhett Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
August 9, 200619 yr In [a href=http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?t=54597" target="_new]this thread[/a], someone stated that they had the following setup:ATI Radeon x700 sapphire (256 MB) DDR,512 Ram 2600+xp Amd,200GB Hard drive gigabyte Motherbord, Xp proMike (tdragger) stated that he should be just fine for FSX. So going by this I think most of us can relax.Just posting this to soothe some headaches. ;)
August 9, 200619 yr I'm hoping to get at least decent performance/looks from my P4 3.2Ghz GeForce 6800-256MB, 1.5GB RAM 160GB HD, though I've been thinking about upgrading to a 7600GT anyway.
August 9, 200619 yr Yeah, dude, your well above the specs listed in the post above yours. You should have no problem.Until you all start tossing in all the memory hogging addons.
