February 19, 20197 yr Lets use a benchmark: Aerosoft a319 Orbx KSAN Rex 3d, all textures HD no Ultra-HD Fps: 22 - 26 + heavy stuttering I am using affinity mask and nvidea inspector + turning off anti-virus to get an extra couple of FPS i7-3770 Gtx 1060
February 19, 20197 yr My previous specs were the same as yours. Despite I had found good settings to avoid stutters, the FPS was rarely above yours. Daylight came back after buying my new PC (see below). Edited February 19, 20197 yr by ng0057a5
February 19, 20197 yr Have you tried running 4.4 without affinity mask and nvidia inspector turned on. Using the AS A320 aircraft and same airport I get 35-60fps with no tweaks. I use a GTX 1060 also but with a i7-4790K no OC @4ghz.. LM have mentioned that with the 64bit release, little, if any tweaks are necessary. YBCG
February 19, 20197 yr Check to see if you have hyperthreading on. If so turn it off. Myself and others have reported better performance.
February 19, 20197 yr H.T. combined with Process Lasso helps a lot with a 3770K. Just have to let the core 1 free (not the 0).
February 20, 20197 yr If you did some major changes or if you had a crash, it is always a good idea to delete shader cache. I do do it on a regular base just to be on the safe side. - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).
February 20, 20197 yr Author UPDATE: (this is a different benchmark, AS A320, aerosoft PANC, rex 3d and fsxwx (yes i use that weather engine lol) my fps after deleting my shader cache shot up from 22-18 to 32-34
