February 19, 20197 yr Does anyone have any good methods for doing a backup of FS2004? I live in fear daily that my GB's of files will one day corrupt or vanish and I will be starting all over...Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks, Steve in Kansas Steve 7 Miles NW of KGCK
February 20, 20197 yr Just copy the whole file to a hard drive. That's the easiest way of doing it. You will probably have to reinstall payware stuff (maybe)I'm using Teracopy from https://www.codesector.com/teracopyIt's free & the fastest copy utility out there. February 20, 20197 yr I use macrium reflect. I make once a month a fresh backup on an external drive and Macrium makes an automatic daily (either full, incremental or differential) backup on of my systemdrives at first startup of the day. I keep these for 7 days. If required I can restore my entire system or any drive individually to any previous moment in time for which I have a backup. https://www.macrium.com/ best regards Dick Edited February 20, 20197 yr by dick
