Razer Electra V2 USB - No voice recognition

Featured Replies

Hello,

Today I bought the RAZER ELECTRA V2 USB headset to improve my FS2CREW experience upgrading my old headset.

Unfortunately, after many hours trying to make it work I have been unable to configure FS2CREW to recognize my commands properly. I did a speech recognition configuration from zero on Windows 7 and still doesn't work, randomly recognize a "set" or "check" command but nothing else.

I can hear well and the mic records my voice well.

Hopefully someone could help me.

Cheers!

Hi,

I know some users have had problems with the Razer Kracken in the past.  Some did.  Some didn't.

Make sure you have the latest drivers from their site.

Personally, all  you really need for FS2Crew is a simple $20 / $30 headset (USB is best).  Sometimes the more exotic headsets can have issues.

As Bryan mentioned razer headsets have caused issues in the past. I had a kraken v2 pro and had similar issues. Try removing synapse software and try. It gets auto installed when you first plug in a razer usb headphone. This should resolve it.
