At night the plane gets REALLY DARK!

Featured Replies

So I just spawned in at Kastrup and and I got out to a outside weiw and my plane looked really dark even though there are lights around! It looks perfect on days and like normal time but on the night really dark! http://prntscr.com/mryppi

Any reply would be greatly apprechiated! 😄

The reason for this is that the lighting at the airport is "legacy" lighting, which is actually just a ground texture on the surface below the plane.

New scenery uses dynamic lighting, which would illuminate the plane.

This may help, try changing this setting in your Prepar3D.cfg:

MOON_PHASE_LIGHTING=False <---default is True - make it False

You may still need to turn up the HDR brightness a little higher too.
