July 15, 200619 yr I just spotted that SOBELAIR is included in one of the FS2006 screenshots. Do you think MS may have finally agreed to publish with more real world airlines and if so I wonder which ones.http://p.airliners.net/photos/photos/3/7/1/0769173.jpghttp://www.avsim.com/pages/robertw/FSX/airport.jpg
July 15, 200619 yr >Don't know... I just hope that is a real screenshot because>it looks so good!It is, see here http://www.avsim.com/pages/robertw/FSX/FS-X.htmRegards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/tfbeta.jpg Best, Michael KDFW
July 16, 200619 yr Yep! Looks great.I like the extra detail (coastline, roads etc) in the airport and New York shots. FSX will be worth it just for extra details like this!
July 16, 200619 yr just imagine the CPU power you need to run this thing to have all this eye candy. I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram
July 16, 200619 yr That aircraft is a 3rd party aircraft from FS 2004 that was just used as a placeholder for the default 737-800 that can be seen in the "sharedskies" video. It is a very early screenshot, because it does have FS 2006 as the title and we all know that was changed to FSX. I believe that due to licensing, no real airline livery will be included as default.Regards,Owen *****<br>J. July 16, 200619 yr And if a real airline were in there it would be a US airline, not an almost bankrupt Belgian one.
July 16, 200619 yr I forgot where I read it, but I believe when playing multiplayer they tone down the graphics so that things can be easily shared over the web. So the airport "activity" isn't included when playing online.
July 16, 200619 yr We have some bankrupt and almost-bankrupt airlines too. Maybe they should look to MS for some license fees instead of increasing ticket prices and decreasing service :-) .
