>Hi Bill,>>Unique? It's been the case on every airliner from the DC-6>and L-749 through todays jumbos. That's a lot of planes.Really? I've never seen a "nose wheel tiller" (like in the Airbus pilot side control) in very many a/c...But, even counting the one's you mentioned, that's still less than 1% of the total aircraft flying worldwide... ;)

>Hi,>I wanted to know whether FSX will offer the ability to have a>true tiller control for us cockpit builders.>>Indeed, right now it is always coupled with the rudder, which>is quite annoying for heavies. I don't object to it being>coupled, I just would like to have the opportunity to decouple>it...Actually, that could easily be done in FS9 providing the modeler and gauge programmer are talking to each other... ;)It's a trivial matter to "decouple the rudder" with a bit of XML/model magic, and a gauge to allow for automatic or semi-automatic control.

But they carry 90% of the passengers ;)

Not sure that is less than 1% of the planes.Given that all the commercial flying Boeing, Airbus, MDDouglas and Lockheed have them...I also believe the Twin Otters have. So that is not only a thing of the biggies.Regards,Cedric
