ifly 747 and fsx

Recommended Posts

I just downloaded the ifly 747-400 freeware and the airac data on the fmc is 0511 my question is how can I get the fmc and stock airports updated so the work together at no cost to me I don't want to spend money because 1 it is tight but 2 im not a huge flying simmer so I don't really care how old the data is I just want something that works

It's unlikely that you'll get the two in sync unless you're willing to spend a little money.

The lowest cost solution would be to use the freeware Sors FSX/P3D Navaids update to update the stock airports and take a one time monthly subscription to Navigraph to update the iFly747 navigation data.

That would give you the same base for both of them.

I've included links to both within this message, but the one to Sors was producing errors, so you may need to Google it.

I think the iFly Navigraph data is only compatible with the payware 747-400v2 and the 737NG. For the 744 freeware, you're SOL.

Well, there used to be another database for that, but I'm not sure if this is still current.
