April 14, 20197 yr I have pretty much everything figured out except I can't seem to get FO to set MTOP. I have it set in brief and and say it in the after start check list. Also if I click on it in the panel in resets back to NTOP. I don't use it all the time ,just when I'm at shorter runway. Thanks for help.
April 15, 20197 yr Commercial Member I asked the Dash 8 developer about this. MTOP is used for emergencies. His response: MTOP has a cancellation timer. The logic is:MTOP will cancel if PLs <60 and not in AF test mode >5 seconds This is to prevent using MTOP in any other conditions except for emergency B.
