There is a BA Concorde manual in PDF form available on eBay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/British-Airways-Concorde-Performance-Manual-Part-1-COPY-on-PDF-CD-/273785037368 For the very modest price that seems a good starting point. I’m not aware of any other documents. How do you calculate reheat time? Assuming you can fly any route loaded into the sim that time would vary enormously. One flight I regularly take is Manchester to Lisbon. Vr is just 139kts and reheat time around 45 secs. I did read the discussion on Colimata and the author seems happy with the aircraft performance. But where is he getting his performance data from? Thanks I will take a look. For the reheat times it was just purely a comparison with the Concorde X. Ive only really done the comparisons at those weights so far. I will have do some more in time. Didn’t realise that Vr was so low at those weights. Always assumed it to be around 170 knots. Thanks again
August 1, 20214 yr Moderator Colimata announced a significant upgrade to their Concorde package a few days ago. I must admit to being very surprised how little discussion there’s been about it here. At least you have a 64-bit version. Us FS Labs customers are still waiting for ours. Ray (Cheshire, England). August 3, 20214 yr Yeah! I'm looking forward to what has been proposed for the update, hopefully we get this free but, if it needs an additional purchase its not a problem as the work which has been done so far is great to bring back a much missed aircraft from our sky's!
August 3, 20214 yr Personally I put together a livery specially for G-BOAD in 96 so that I can fly out of KJFJ from G2 at 22R to the schedule to EGLL at 9R for the record time and it is tricky to beat when done properly hehehe I'm using active sky for the correct historic weather for that day with a purpose built metar and it can be beat but it is damm hard to do lol using WT3 just make it more awkward he hehehe
August 3, 20214 yr And before anyone ask how do I get weather files dating back to 96, well the process is not straight forward but you effectively take EPW weather files and edit and convert over to metar and I will at some point post an effective way that can implemented for flight simmers that makes it easy to do as I know a number of people would like to choose certain events to use as scenario.
