May 13, 20197 yr If you run Win 10, press the Windows key and type "Prepar3d". You should get a list. Look for one with "file folder" under it. Click that, and the folder will open in Explorer. May 14, 20197 yr The root folder is another name for the main P3D/FSX directory. Like C:\ is your root folder, the main installation directory of P3D is the root folder of P3D
