May 22, 20197 yr I downloaded A2A's B-17 to a new computer and can't get the crew voices to work. I can hear them on other aircraft and the B-17 works fine on my old computer.
May 22, 20197 yr See if the sound folder got properly installed in the aircraft folder. Thank you. Rick $Silver Donor EAA 1317610 I7-7700K @ 4.5ghz, MSI Z270 Gaming MB, 32gb 3200, Geforce RTX2080 Super O/C, 28" Samsung 4k Monitor, Various SSD, HD, and peripherals
May 23, 20197 yr Author Comparing files in my old computer to the new it appears the sound files are located in the same place and contain the same info. The Sound folder is just below the Sim Objects folder in both. Did a WinMerge comparison to make sure they contain the same info.
May 23, 20197 yr Commercial Member Hello Steve, The internal sound files for the Accu-Sim B-17 are stored in a separate directory to the main "sounds" folder that you mention. By default, this is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\A2A\B17\Sounds". If you're having some difficulties with the product, I'd recommend that you drop us a line on our forums where we can help get you sorted out. If you can let us know as much info about your OS and installation as possible, it should make it quicker to troubleshoot the issue. Thanks, Nick Nick M - A2A Simulations
